John and I said YES! You sent me so many lovely congratulations and I have never been so touched. THANK YOU, from the bottom of my heart! It was such a funny coincidence, because when I was a little girl, my mother always dreamed that I would end up marrying Prince Harry. Alas, her dream didn&#8217;t come true&#8230; but that&#8217;s fine, because not for anything in the world would I want to switch places, hehehe \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>However, I loved that the royal wedding was so natural, fresh and modern, especially the very unroyal Royal Wedding Cake:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">The wedding cake is to be served at the Reception. It was designed by Claire Ptak and features elderflower syrup made at The Queen\u2019s residence in Sandringham from the estate\u2019s own elderflower trees, as well as a light sponge cake uniquely formulated for the couple. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/royalwedding?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#royalwedding<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/kt5lE4tEn9\">pic.twitter.com\/kt5lE4tEn9<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Kensington Palace (@KensingtonRoyal) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/KensingtonRoyal\/status\/997828026971893760?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 19, 2018<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><br \/>\n<blockquote class=\"pullquote\" style=\"float:none; width:600px\">A filling made from Amalfi lemon curd and elderflower buttercream ties all the elements together. The cake is decorated with Swiss meringue buttercream and 150 fresh flowers, mainly British, and in season, including peonies and roses. #RoyalWedding<\/blockquote><\/p>\n<p>The prince and his bride managed to surprise the world!<\/p>\n<p>The combination of lemon and elderflower sounds so dreamy, so <em>of course<\/em> I had to try it as soon as I had the chance.
